Pseudonatural Peptides for Therapeutics and Some Examples of Impactful Research Articles published in RSC Chemical Biology
Hiroaki Suga is a Professor of the Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science at the University of Tokyo. He was born in Okayama City, Japan in 1963. He received his Bachelor of Engineering (1986) and Master of Engineering (1989) from Okayama University, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (1994) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After three years of post-doctoral work at Massachusetts General Hospital, he was appointed as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the State University of New York at Buffalo (1997) and promoted to tenured Associate Professor (2002). In 2003, he moved to the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Tokyo as an Associate Professor, and soon after he was promoted to Full Professor. In 2010, he changed his affiliation to the Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science.
From 2004, she joined the Centre for Electrochemical Technologies in San Sebastian, (Spain) as the Head of Electrooptical unit where she stayed for 7 years. After moving to Australia, she joined Prof. Alan Bond’s group at Monash University and in 2012 she joined Deakin University where she has been working in reversible metal air battery with advanced electrolytes, ionic liquids.
His research interests are in the field of bioorganic chemistry, chemical biology and biotechnology related to RNA, translation, and peptides. He is also a founder of PeptiDream Inc. Tokyo, a publicly traded company at the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, which has many partnerships with pharmaceutical companies worldwide. Nowadays, Professor Suga is serving a two-year term as President of The Chemical Society of Japan. He has received many awards in Japan and Max-Bergmann Medal 2016.

杨财广，中科院上海药物研究所研究员，国科大杭州高等研究院双聘教授，杰出青年基金获得者。
1993 年-1997 年在华中理工大学（现华中科技大学）获学士学位；1997 年-2002 年在中科院上海有机化学研究所获博士学位；2002-2008 年在芝加哥大学开展博士后工作；2008 年春回上海药物研究所工作至今，开展“功能蛋白质化学干预”的化学生物学基础研究以及分子靶向新药发现研究。入选英国皇家化学会 Fellow等。现任 RSC Chemical Biology 副主编等。
